《恋爱的犀牛》由孟京辉执导,郭涛、吴越、李乃文等主演,于1999年6月7日在中国青年艺术剧院青艺小剧场首演。
《恋爱的犀牛》是一个关于爱情的故事,讲一个男人爱上一个女人,为了她做了一个人能所做的一切。剧中的主角马路是别人眼中的偏执狂,如他朋友所说过分夸大一个女人和另一个女人之间的差别,在人人都懂得明智选择的今天,算是人群中的犀牛,实属异类。所谓“明智”,便是不去做不可能、不合逻辑和吃力不讨好的事。在有着无数可能、无数途径、无数选择的现代社会,人人都能找到自己的最佳位置,都能在情感和实利之间找到一个明智的平衡支点,避免落到一个自己痛苦,别人耻笑的境地。这是马路所不会的。不单感情,所有的事也是如此。没有偏执就没有新的创举,就没有新的境界,没有你想也想不到的新的开始。
Directed by Meng Jinghui and starring Guo Tao, Wu Yue and Li Naiwen, “Rhinoceros in Love” premiered at the Qingyi Theater of China Youth Art Theater on June 7, 1999.
"Rhinoceros in love" is a story about love, about a man fall in love with a woman, for she has done what one can, plays the leading role of the street is the eyes of others, paranoid, as his friend say exaggerated a woman and another woman, the differences between the everyone all know a wise choice today, even in the crowd rhino is heterogeneous. To be wise is not to do the impossible, the illogical, and the thankless. In a modern society where there are so many possibilities, so many ways, so many choices, everyone can find his or her best position, and find a wise pivot between emotion and utility, so that he or she does not fall into the position of being miserable and being laughed at. 《恋爱的犀牛》是一部传统的写实话剧,这样一部先锋美学作品无论是在舞台设计、灯光设计都讲究无比精致,情节设计充满了戏剧性。强悍,瞬间的爆炸,虔诚,认真,坚韧,怪诞,狂放,余味悠长。
《恋爱中的犀牛》除了剧情能够抓住观众内心这种强烈的混沌感以外,作品所蕴含的艺术形式也有独特的张力。人物的塑造骨血丰满,尝试着透过表象求索的人会注意到生活的平静背后发生着各种悲剧与闹剧。其表现的手法夸张、抽象却又具有审美。其中对“人”的理解和对“人”情感诉求的剖析同样表现得十分深刻,具有很高的艺术价值 。(戏剧文学评)

舞台/Stage
舞台道具上较为新奇,笤帚、拖把、鸡毛掸子、绳子、报纸等这些在规定情境中并不客观存在的东西也被用作辅助演员“表现式”表演的道具,并且有的还一物多用。例如普通的报纸拿在演员手里是书,举在头上就是雨伞。又如床有时候是具象的床,有时候又用来代表具有一定高度的景物。
舞台设计采取了写意的手法。一张扭曲变形、形似钟表表盘的矮桌被固定地安放在舞台一角,作为男主角“马路”家的空间依据,在表演区一角搭上一段钢架子又代表了犀牛馆,犀牛也不曾以任何物质的形态出现。

音乐/Music
恋爱的犀牛从戏剧结构到舞台处理,方方面面都有令人欣喜的创意。该剧的音乐占了很大的比重,剧情每到一个阶段,演员就自动从角色中跳出来演唱,歌曲承载了单靠语言不足以抒发出的情感,也承载了超脱于人物情感之外的理智。
“Rhinos in love” are deliriously creative in everything from their dramatic structure to their stage treatment. The music of the play takes up a large proportion. 《恋爱的犀牛》2008版主演由张念骅和齐溪担任。男主角张念骅是演出过犀牛最多场次的“马路”。2008年改版后《恋爱的犀牛》加入了许多水的元素,例如最后一幕,马路站在倾泻而下的水幕中。在800多场的演出中,张念骅也因为此场景而膝盖积水。然而在被采访时他说道,“26岁的我充满激情,孟导给了我一个角色叫马路,于是我几乎忘了自己是张念骅。我血液里流淌的都是《恋爱的犀牛》的血。”
如今同样被文艺电影青睐的齐溪,在当初被称为塑造了“最冷的明明”。离开孟京辉工作室的她,在2012年凭借《浮城谜事》获得了台湾电影金马奖最佳新演员奖。2008年,《恋爱的犀牛》成为了北京蜂巢剧场开幕之作,从此中国戏剧演出史上有了第一部定制剧场演出的戏剧。

After leaving Meng Jinghui studio, she won the Best new actor award at Taiwan's Golden Horse Film Awards in 2012 for "The Mystery of The Floating City." In 2008, Rhinoceros in Love became the opening work of The Beehive Theater in Beijing, and since then, there has been the first custom theater drama in the history of Chinese theater performance.
对比1999版本的“恋爱的犀牛“,08年版的小剧场版还加了一些装置,制造“倾盆大雨“的场景,在话剧的视觉效果上的表现更加丰富多彩,给予观众更加沉浸式的体验。
角色的塑造上来说,第一版对于明明这个角色,吴越诠释的更加执着,对于爱情的追求,爱憎分明,对爱的爱到极致;对不爱的人的冷漠到极致。认为爱或者不爱,都是理所应当。
孟京辉的先锋话剧用了一种很抽象的方式,表达出他想表达的内容,《恋爱的犀牛》里对待爱情这种偏执与执拗,通过这样塑造出来的人物虽然看似单一但一定是饱满且出彩的。在1999版的马路和明明两个人更像是一所以爱冠名的医院里,两个供奉爱情为爱偏执的病人。
多年来主创们和观众们持续的热情,使得这样一头“犀牛”还在不断奔跑者。只要这头“犀牛”存在,就会提醒着,我们内心的一些痛苦和快乐。

孟京辉
Meng Jinghui
孟京辉,1964年3月11日出生于北京市,中国内地导演、演员、制片人,毕业于中央戏剧学院导演系。
1987年,主演荒诞剧《犀牛》第一次走上中央戏剧学院的舞台。1992年,进入中央实验话剧院。1999年,执导小剧场戏剧《恋爱的犀牛》 。2002年,执导个人首部电影《像鸡毛一样飞》,入围第3届华语电影传媒大奖最佳处女作、第55届洛迦诺国际电影节金豹奖。2019年,执导话剧《茶馆》,该剧受邀进入第73届阿维尼翁戏剧节核心板块IN单元演出。
孟京辉于1997年成立了孟京辉戏剧工作室,以多元化、先锋性为创作原则,创意制作了大量引领中国文化艺术潮流的当代戏剧作品,演出剧目达28部,屡创华语剧坛奇迹。其中,仅【恋爱的犀牛】一个项目就累计达1,000场演出,被誉为“当代爱情圣经”。
Meng Jinghui, born in Beijing on March 11, 1964, is a director, actor and producer from the Chinese mainland. He graduated from the Directing department of the Central Academy of Drama.
In 1987, he starred in the absurd play Rhinoceros, which was staged at the Central Academy of Drama for the first time. In 1992, he entered the Central Experimental Theatre. In 1999, directed the small theater play Rhinoceros in Love. In 2002, he directed his first film flying like chicken Feathers, which was nominated for the Best Debut at the 3rd Chinese Film Media Awards and the Golden Leopard Award at the 55th Locarno International Film Festival. IN 2019, he directed the drama Teahouse, which was invited to perform IN the core section of the 73rd Avignon Festival.
Founded by Meng Jinghui in 1997, meng Jinghui has created a large number of contemporary drama works leading the trend of Chinese culture and art with diversified and pioneering creative principles, and 28 plays have been performed, repeatedly creating miracles in the Chinese drama world. The rhinoceros in Love project alone has been praised as the "Bible of contemporary love" with a total of 1,000 performances.
廖一梅
Liao Yimei
廖一梅是中国近年来倍受瞩目的编剧、作家。毕业于中央戏剧学院,现为中国国家话剧院编剧。她1999年创作的话剧《恋爱的犀牛》是中国小剧场戏剧史上最受欢迎的作品之一。2005年3月由她编剧的多媒体音乐话剧《琥珀》在香港艺术节首演,此后在新加坡、北京、上海、深圳等地巡演,成为亚洲剧坛的旗帜性作品。由她编剧的电影《生死劫》获美国纽约崔贝卡电影节最佳影片金奖;电影《像鸡毛一样飞》获香港国际电影节费比西影评人大奖。
恋爱的犀牛之所以称为场场满座的话剧,编剧也是功不可没的。廖一梅与孟京辉夫妻共同创作的这部话剧也被一次又一次的重演成为经典。

Her film "Life and Death" won the Best Film Award at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. The reason why rhinoceros in love is called a sold-out play, the screenwriter is also indispensable. Liao Yimei and Meng Jinghui husband and wife jointly created this drama has also been repeated again and again become a classic.
郭涛
Guo Tao
郭涛,1967年12月17日出生于陕西西安,中国内地男演员。1991年出演了首部电影作品《苦乐三兄弟》从而踏入演艺圈。1994年,主演剧情片《活着》;同年主演由冯小刚执导的电影处女作《永失我爱》。2004年,郭涛凭借话剧《死无葬身之地》中的表演获文化部优秀表演奖。2006年,因出演剧情片《疯狂的石头》中包世宏一角而被观众所熟知。
郭涛出身演艺世家,父亲毕业于中央戏剧学院,母亲毕业于上海戏剧学院。中戏毕业后,郭涛被分配到实验话剧院,相继出演了孟京辉执导的《等待戈多》、《思凡》等话剧作品。

Guo tao comes from a family of performing artists. His father graduated from the Central Academy of Drama and his mother graduated from the Shanghai Theatre Academy. After graduation, Guo tao was assigned to the Experimental Theatre and acted in waiting for Godot and Sifan directed by Meng Jinghui.
