This book records the architecture, thinking, and stage drama design of Peter Corrigan, the architect, and teacher who has the greatest influence on me. Reading from the back to the front, this book is his drama design, including stage and costume. Peter Corrigan, as the postmodern design godfather of Australian architecture, has cultivated a group of excellent Australian architects and set up a firm, which has continued to influence the development of Australian architectural design in actual projects, such as Lyons architecture, arm architecture, etc. Through their works, we can see that the local architectural design in Australia is a force that has been ignored by the domestic and even the world. Their sensitivity to culture, politics, and art has been professionally transformed into architectural design thinking, resulting in excellent works, and this book is the foundation of uncovering.

Description
Christopher Alexander, the winner of the highest research medal from the American Institute of Architects, is a practicing architect and architect, Professor of architecture at the University of California, Berkeley, and director of the center for environmental structure.
This book puts forward a new theory about architectural design, architecture, and planning. The core of the theory is that social members set the world order of their lives according to their own state of existence. This ancient way fundamentally forms the foundation of new post-industrial architecture, which is created by people.

Christophe tries to describe the "unspeakable" beyond the “way” of language behind architecture and space.
This book needs time to experience, especially in combination with practical experience. Every recollection in the accumulation will inspire us. Architecture is not constant data, but for every group and individual in every space, even every time. The way that we want to excavate will be in the hands of our designers in the end, because every design is spontaneously moved by us from the bottom of our hearts. I think in the end, we will all think about how to design a space where time will stop, and we will find the way.

Mongrel Rapture
ARM Architecture
简介
Description
Mongrel Rapture is the first major monograph on Ashton Raggatt McDougall, one of the most significant architectural practices in Australia. ARM’s architecture draws from a diverse territory of inspiration, including Michelangelo and Robert Venturi, computer programming, and biblical verse. It has been celebrated—and occasionally execrated—by critics and the public alike, yet, despite the work’s capacity to polarise, the practice has produced some of Australia’s most significant buildings.

Description
This book is a brand new urban picture book after Sanlitun, 789 and Nanluoguxiang, the most beautiful books in China. With more beautiful pictures and more vivid plots, this paper illustrates the 10 most interesting spaces in Beijing's "Dashilan" Hutong.
All the stories are extracted from the interviews with the people involved. They are simple but true. With the help of these stories, the author shows the relationship among people, architecture and city. This relationship is not only spatial and functional, but also temporal and emotional. This is a fatalistic theme of architecture. With the help of drawings and comics, the author attempts to illustrate it as a kind of patient, delicate and focused "watching".
The whole book adds a sense of density of urban life to the urban axonometric in the form of comics. In this virtual city, every different experience path of the reader's eyes is a different story combination, thus condensing endless "anecdotes" of the city.

Li Han is my senior in RMIT. His series of urban architecture picture books full of dramatic conflicts are a way of expression combined with his growth and learning. In the years of continuous expression, he has formed his own language, and used it as an inspiration and a means of architectural image observation and thinking. It seems that there is no painting geometric logic in the image, but it can see the blending and conflict of various cultures, politics and life, trying to tell the viewer a complete story of experiencing time. I'm curious what kind of city Chongqing is in his eyes.

Wang Shu: Imagining the House
Wang Shu
简介
Description
Wang Shu’s design process always begins with an intense study of the location. The architect spends as long as possible on the site, absorbing its atmosphere. He then produces drafts in the form of hand-drawn sketches, creating them in relatively quick succession. Imagining the House follows this process in various buildings. Photographic documentation of the locations elucidate Shu’s on-site research. The reproductions of drawings in this book demonstrate how the designs change and become more concrete over the course of the process. The book provides unique insights into the work of an architect who has hitherto received little attention in Europe, thereby addressing a considerable omission in the publishing world.

Figures: A Pictorial Journal. 1954-1971
Rob Krier
简介
Description
The architect is at all times also an artist. How otherwise would he be able to tame the three-dimensionality of space and subdue the urges of physics and structural mechanics with the creations of his fantasy? This creativity is however mostly restricted purely to its own field. Rob Krier, born in 1938 in Grevenmacher, Luxembourg, is an exception. Since the beginning of his career in construction, he has always seen his love of art as a vocation one that he nurtures parallel to his work. In his Pictorial Journal 1954 1971, Rob Krier describes how his twin passion for fine art and architecture emerged. His autobiographical notes are accompanied by numerous sketches, drawings, and sculptures, which were produced during this period and in which the author s multifaceted experiences find artistic manifestation.

Rob Krier
Rob Krier is a planning architect. I also have other books of his, but this one gives me endless enjoyment. In his free strokes, I can feel his most primitive thinking instead of his "refined" theory.
